It's been said on here a few times about women being better at multi-tasking compared to men. I'm just wondering what are the things that you can do at the same time that men can't. Some examples please.

Women can't concentrate as much as men on a specific task. This gets spun by the spin-meisters into "multi-tasking" when its more like "scatter-brained".

I don't believe I'm any more capable of multi-tasking due to possessing a vagina. In general, I have worked in environments that helped improve my multi-tasking, but my vagina sure didn't get me there.

Oh geez, this again.

They are no better at it in general. But we can hold their hand and patronize them and say they are so they'll shut it.

I've met plenty of men and women who can multi-task with the best.

Many women confuse scatter-brained with multitasking. Learn to focus! You'll enjoy sex more, trust me.

Im afraid I have to agree, men have a habit of getting procedurally focused at the expense of other things on occasion. This doesnt though mean they cannot multi-task and indeed I've never met a Women that could multi-task in anyway different from men. Women's emotional decision making matrix seems to be more limiting in multi-tasking then beneficial, and men's procedural techniques are more flexible to depth and breadth of taskings.

THINK for one thing... lol... Talk on the phone, chat on instant messaging, Watch the cars go by my window, Eat. and listen to music. Yea... and I can do it all sitting down too! lol...

Standing up... let's see..... cook dinner, Kiss my hubby, listen to music, watch TV.... yep.... I do that... lol...

When my kids were little... I could get 7 kids ready to go out, feed 3 of them (at the same time... yea)... listen to music, talk on the phone, and have dishes soaking for washing.

My father was a time study man when I was born... I guess it just caught on with me! lol....

Do you spot cooks in eating places hoovering and cleansing on a similar time as cooking? in case you like a stable meal it takes concentration to get each thing perfect. basically a theory, she ought to attach mops to her ft and a duster to her bum, that'll help.

i can answer this question while entering orders... i can make dinner, find my b/f wallet and read for my class. i can also take notes and come up with an illustration idea during class... many other things... like, brush my teeth and shave my legs...

scatter brain.. why is it that half the time, men haven't got a clue about what's going on? and i'm not going by this just on my b/f... i work with mostly guys... it's a mad house.

1)Watch TV, talk on the phone and put on nail polish.

2) Cook dinner and help kids with homework.

the 2 halves of womens brains are better linked than men.

its not like men can't multi task a specific thing...

the example I see is

you wake up at 3am and you house is on fire,

you grab your kids and run out.

a woman is more likely to grab the car keys on the table on the way out the door than a man is.

I can put on mascara (with my mouth closed), do my hair, help my husband find his socks, answer the phone, give the cat her insulin and make sure the dogs have been fed all at the same time.
