That took a couple of read-throughs for me to understand.

Yes, that's certainly odd, our soul. :)

Edit: She's just noting that "our souls" is phonetically identical to "ars*holes."

Brits have different meanings for same words we use.

Brits call Cats the same name we use as slang for the female reproductive organ

I understood what she meant but I don't understand why she said it twice. What is the difference between the odd thing and the even more odd thing? They seem like the exact same thing.

Sort of like: Isn't it odd that they sell hot dogs in packages of 12 and hot dog buns in packages of 8? What's even more odd is that they sell hot dogs in packages of 12 and hot dog buns in packages of 8.

I believe you are referring to the "cockney" pronunciation. There certainly are quite a few "are souls" in the world. So I don't find it odd at all. But if you think it is being clever to have thought up such a play on words, then perhaps you should look again at that gold mine you think you have discovered up your nose... it'S NOT.

CAustin- If you could explain in other words what she means, i could answer :-). Thanks

Edit: Do you mean that when British people say the word "Our", it sounds exactly like the word "Are"??

Ah yes, it does sound like that lol. Never thought of it like that :-P. There was a song we used to sing, can't really be typed, it has to be heard but i'll try.

a*rsehole, a*rsehole.....A soldier i will be

Too p*ssed, too p*ssed.....Two pistols on my knee

f*ck you, f*ck you......For curiosity

Fight for the old c*nt, fight for the old c*nt......Fight for the old country

Edit: Umm, not when it comes to the British, luv. When we say "Our" we say "Are" <-- Your point about it being 2 different words, doesn't hold any water.....So then show me a big difference between the word "Our" and "Hour".....Can ya do that??
