The world will be better when these positions are not filled with people that got there based largely on their gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.
So, my answer is yes, the world will be better when more woman are able to gain more of these roles.

No, not if they operate within the same patriarchal system. In fact, it could even turn out to be worse, since in the patriarcy, for a woman to be on top, she has to be even more hardworking and ruthless to prove that she can be a leader, that she can compete successfully in a man's world. Take Margaret Thatcher or Indira Gandhi for example. Thatcher was truly "ruthless" in taking away all rights from the workers, while Indira Gandhi imposed quasi-dictatorship through the emergency and her policies encouraged the (mostly forced) sterilization of women. Neither of them had any different feminine (forget about feminist) way of approaching politics.
For the world to be a better place, there needs to be a paradigm shift, not from patriarchy to matriarchy but to a critique and transformation of patriarchy.

Absolutely. Women are not saints, but I think the world would benefit from their tendency to try and discuss things rather than immediately resorting to violence, and their multitasking skills (much better than men). I've worked for women bosses, ridden in planes piloted by women, dealt with women bankers, and seen how they handle themselves in all sorts of situations; there's no doubt in my mind that we'd all be better off if they had more control over the world's affairs.

No . . . maybe the same . . . maybe worst.
Both men and women are corrupt.
But men works longer than women . . . without taking days off . . . or going off on fits of rage during their monthly friends.
Men act more logical . . . while women are more emotional. Men are more calculating (sometimes not a good trait) . . . while women are more impulsive (oooh pretty button . . . wonder what does it do . . . KAAABOOOOOOM).
Plus recently a fortune 500 company fired the female CEO because it dropped 15 points . . . when they hired a male CEO it went up 40 points. (do the math)

I do. I think for the most part, women leaders in government, industry, professional vocations and education have had a tremendously positive impact on our world. They bring a different set of rules to the table--they are as capable of men as succeedining, but often have different (and better) ways to do it. Not all are successful--I'm sure many men enjoyed seeing HP boss Carly Fiorina go down in flames--but I don't think even that diminished her achievements.

As long as they didn't start acting like their male counterparts.
I never did like having to 'fit in', 'dress the part' and 'be one of the guys' when I sat at the board room table. As Vice Pres.....welll...lets just say there was more lace, heels and heart when I entered the room. It took time, but I gained respect with hard work, logic and a great deal of humor.

If they are as petty and spiteful as some of the women bosses that I have worked for have been, I really do not think so.

with more women in such positions , there not going to be all that war , women hate using that kind of power , but in many other things it may be not better at all .
