Have you seen how scary some creatures gentials are?

Somehow, I ended up on a website that goes in depth in a bizarre area of many species of animals and insects. The information is quite scary. For example:

"Some species, like the dung fly, have armoured genitals. Others, like the familiar fly Drosophila melanogaster, have toxic semen laden with chemicals that actually slash the lifespans of females."

"And possibly the most cringeworthy sexual technique of all belongs to the male bed bug, whose penis is like a hypodermic needle. He stabs it through the female’s back and injects his semen straight into her abdominal cavity. It’s a method that’s been appropriately named “traumatic insemination”.

I hadn't really spent any time looking up animal penises. I just ended a horrific Google search. I also found out that male cats have barbs on heir penises so that even if the female changes her mind about mating, she can't escape. Male cats also bite female cats' necks to get them to submit to them.

Male ducks have explosive penises that can become fully erect in less than a second. It's also shaped like a corkscrew so the female cannot easily escape.

@Temple: Do feminists take issue with everything these days? And what about the black widow spider? Or the pray mantis, or any species of animal that devours the male after insemination? Seems male disposability is a common denominator among many species also.

"@PrognosticInflux, do MRA's lack a sense of humor? Are they all overly sensitive little whiners? Seems that way."

It's often difficult to tell if feminists are being serious or not, cause their whole movement is a joke, really. Also, I don't think I tried to insult you in any way, so it seems you're the one whose overly sensitive because you felt the need to insult me.

Furthermore, if my "insult" didn't even apply to you, then why be so insulted to begin with?

Back to the topic: Nature is nature, and simply cannot be subjected to human political correctness. Therefore, I'm not too interested in arguing about which gender is mistreated more in other species than my own. It's just silly.

Measuring the penis when it isn't erect is pointless, since the length and bulk are affected by various temporary factors, such as the ambient temperature. Even the largest male organ can shrink to virtually nothing if the man goes for a swim in cold water. However, at normal temperatures a non-erect p enis usually measures between 8.5 cm and 10.5 cm (3-4 inches) from tip to base.

The average figure is about 9.5 cm (3.75 inches). Of course, it's true that some men have big penises and some have smaller ones, just as some men have small feet and some have big feet, but the measurement is not – repeat not – an index of virility.

Unsurprisingly, the suffering of the female is the one common factor among all these. Looks like mother nature might be a misogynist.

And, anyways, most sex between females and males in mother nature would be described as rape by human standards.

And I can name many where the female is subjected to violence just to initiate the act.

Such as with lions, the male forces the female to submit by overpowering her. She has very little choice in the matter, if any at all, when you think about it.

Or the Quoll, the males drag the females away by latching onto their necks with sharp teeth and raping them for up to three hours or all day.

Some die during this.

And there is the Seal... the males, who are much bigger on average, can actually crush the younger females to death during mating.

The list goes on.

Oh, I'm not a feminist but it's nice to know your insults have not improved.

Edit: I was not offended by being called a feminist, I was only informing you that I am not one... Because I am not.

Your intent was to offend and by pointing out how your insults have not advanced, I was implying how I am not offended.

Very simple to understand.

Looking at it, I feel jealous not to be born as a beetle. You also seem quite intrigued, even fascinated by that thing, so I guess even women feel the same way.

Actually humans have one of the least painful sex. If you look at other mammals like cats, you'll see how painful the process is to the female because of the rough surface of the male's wiener.

Actually, that thing some human females carry around is pretty frightening, with dark blue or black coloration. and the labia hanging out. There are a lot of very pretty and inviting ones however. I often wind up in websites that study such things.

Lilith, there is one species even creepier. The female, apparently, lurks near the local watering hole, obscures her genitalia with a little black evening dress, and then tries to snare her mate after the band finishes playing by pretending to be 'lost' backstage.

You don't have to go so far, if you by chance visit a porno website you can see how ugly, bizarre and ill proportioned some male human sex organs can be.

Its all about prospective. Your genitals could be just as scary to an alien. They seem like no big deal to you because it feels natural and normal Just because something is strange to one creature doesn't mean its strange. Ugly isn't a fact its a subjective.

no genitalia are more frightening to the human female than those of her own species: the human male.

Nature is freaky. But so interesting.
