this is perfect example (go to the link)

the discussion was started by Dr. Warren Farrell who is among the Financial Times Top 100 thought leaders and is the award-winning author of several books, including The Myth of Male Power"
He wanted to discuss about the growing number of suicide among men and downfall of boys in schools and colleges etc But feminists didn't like it, they attacked men who were talking about their issues in college campus.Cops were called to control them.

Don't you think it tells a lot about today's feminism.
what do you think about it ?
why we blindly support a group who have no sympathy for men and don't want our issues to come forward .
i want to know the reason from you guys .

You'd have to ask them to know for sure.

My personal opinion is they have let their ideas run away with them - and they are now paranoid wrecks. much of true feminisms goals have been achieved. but they don't want to put down the victim mentality. so they must insist they are still being persecuted, oppressed and victimised - even if in reality they clearly are not.

(im talking about in the west. I do recognise feminism is still extremely valid and needed and important to tackle women's rights in other parts of the world. But in the west they're pretty much just a man-hate group now)

The issue with this question is that you have focused on second wave, Radical feminism. If you did research through other types of feminism such as liberal and marxist/social you might be surprised to find that they support theories around not only the suppression of women but also of men, but more specifically third wave feminism.

A good area of study to look is masculinity studies, which emerged in the 1970s as a response to and a critique of the emerging anti-feminist movements (also known as men's movements). Masculinity studies looks specifically at issues around ideas abotu masculinity and men and are sympathetic to the causes of feminism.

Some good theorists to explore include R.W Connell's work on hegemonic masculinity (her 2005 work) and other theorists such as Tim Edwards and Stephen M Whitehall.

Just remember that not all feminists are the same and not all of them are informed correctly, just like not all men are anti-feminist sexist and chauvinistic pigs.

The extreme of anything don't like anything.

The extreme feminists hate men, extreme misogynists hate women, extreme religious types hate non religious types, gays etc.

I don't support the extreme feminism. I don't hate men.
