Question:
Is anybody else fed up with seeing abortion questions posted by men?

I am pro-choice. I do not think I would ever have an abortion, however, I believe every woman has the right to choose. I have noticed that a lot of the anti-abortion questions (often poorly disguised rants) are posted by men. Men cannot get pregnant. They will never have to face the difficult decision to proceed with an unwanted pregnancy or not, and some men seem to find it too easy to recommend adoption (you still have to loan out your body for 9 months chaps, and face the physical and emotional trauma of childbirth and the subsequent surrender of your newborn to strangers) or feel that abortion is murder.
So, the question:
Do abortion questions posted by men have any real validity bearing in mind that they cannot become pregnant?

Yeah, because of the fact all of us understand that pregnancies do not bring about young ones that adult males could desire to extremely love and carry. that is fairly ironic the type you're getting on others for ranting while this question isn't something greater advantageous than a rant itself. thank you Jen. that style of large judgment is impossible for some human beings right here to attraction to close. Sam- DNA is chop up the two between the dad and mom. I have been given an A in biology. Musica- I trust you, although that's usually feminists themselves who say you are able to't be professional-existence and contact your self a feminist, no one else. Sam- adult males can supply X chromosomes too. in reality, you purchased yours out of your dad. All women folk do. And mitochondrial DNA can, in reality, be inherited from the daddy, besides the reality that that is not uncomplicated. So those arguments do not possibly artwork.

I agree with you. They should refrain from having an opinion on this sensitive issue. I feel as you do about abortion. Women should have the choice. It is not the government's business to tell women what they can and cannot do with their bodies. It is taking away another right of being human. I don't need another keeper that does not know anything about me. Do you? I have enough in my life.

They should do more to hold men accountable. A woman cannot get pregnant on her own.

So because we are women and happen to be the gender that bears the child through pregnancy, the man has nothing to do with the existence of the [fetus] in question? I beg to differ. It takes two to tango, if I may use the term. If the male was the one carrying the impending [fetus] would you not have any interest in the outcome of your offspring's well being. It takes 23 chromosomes from each "donor" to create a human. I say they (men) have just as much right to their own DNA as the woman has to hers. Especially if that exchange of chromosomes was consensual. Just because the woman was designed to be the carrier of the [fetus] doesn't mean that she has any more right to the DNA of the male donor.

Should we exclude men from running the country because they can't bear children? Can only women vote on abortion issues? Where does it stop?

Just my opinion.

well i don't agree with it only because i think its murder it really depends on the mans stand point i know guys that are not for it but want a women to have the choice

personally if i was a girl i would say the same thing i try to look into things form both prospectives

and its not a control issue with men its a religious one

oh i was just reading

(vanes) "it takes 2 to tango" sooo true only 1 problem what if its a rape case then i dont know i might say give them the choice because i think it would be hard on them

Despite not being the one who carries the child, pregnancy still has a huge impact on the life of the father.

By your logic, women's opinions on male circumcision have no validity whatsoever.

Any time an issue addresses whether or not a human life is at risk, the validity of the person posing the question is not gender specific. Every person has a valid right to express their opinion.

Men who are control freaks, or pro-life ask questions like that.

Yes, i am fed up with questions like that, women carry babies, men don't, i wish some men would just get over that fact.

Yes, I am. It's just another way for men to try and control women. It's been done throughout history.
