Do girls feel ashamed of their virginity?

Most of the girls think that sex without marriage is right(correct me if i am wrong).is it because they are ashamed of their virginity or they just dont bother about it or they dont want to wait until they are married.what is the reason?

Most girls (no matter what they tell you) have sex before marriage because they think it will make the guy love them. It won't. To guys, sex is a self gratifying moment and has nothing to do with the girl he is with. To girls...sex is emotional. To guys, it is physical. The girl thinks it will make the guy love her. The guy just wants to DO it. Remember this the next time you think it will make a difference in your relationship. It won't.

Well, I am not ashamed of my virginity at all. But I think that whether your ashamed or not has to do with religion and past experiences more than with the the fact that we're girls. It depends on how acceptable sex is taught to be in the family, and how badly the girl desires a guy, mostly. There is no real reason to be ashamed of virginity. But A person might be ashamed if they felt virginity affected how much they were worth/ what others think of them.

It depends on the culture in some countries loosing your virginity before being married in the extreme cases may lead you to death and in other cultures not being a virgin even if you are not married is not a problem. So if some girls are ashamed of still being virgins they must form part of the cultures tolerating the lost of virginity before marriage and it may happen if those girls have reached an age where everyone is suspected to have experienced love and if they are surrounded by girls of their peer group who have already done it so in a certain way it will reveal their lack of experience and those virgins if they are complexed may think that no one wants them as they are for example fat, unpretty or something else that may repulse others to offer them their first experience, they may feel ashamed because they have doubt about the real reasons making they are always untouched, they may feel ashamed if they lack trust in themselves and in their capacity of seducing or being desired.

Sorry pls! I would like to correct ur opinion first. No girl think sex w'ot marriage an appropriate. There are various reasons and factors which lead to loose some girl's viginity, for which she really feels ashamed, however she may not be sole responsible for it. Whereas a vigin girl feels proud of her virginity. It is her real wealth, which she offers to her dearone after the marriage.

i am not a girl, but i am going to wait because i think it is right to wait. and FYI i saw something on the news in November that more high school girls are waiting to have sex until marriage. that was a survey.
