Women, how do you feel when you realized you don't need men?

As in, you don't need a man to F you to get pregnant because you only need a sperm donor. You also have financial freedom and no longer dependent on men. You can also seek love through your bi or lesbian partners. I mean society still needs men, but women in general do not.

So do you feel the freedom?

(The Chamber collapses into endless rounds of mirth, some members adjourning to the bar in the next room for quick draught of ale or mead, others simply sit face down at their places, laughing into their desk tops)....

No. I used to feel that way.



However, as I get older I realize that being so independent can be awfully lonely too.



I think that we still do need men, emotionally. A man and a woman balance each other in a way that two women do not.

I do like the freedom to be whatever I want to be, but I would still want a man to love me for me.

Yes, and I wish everyone could feel this freedom of dependence on others for their own happiness. It would probably remove a lot of anger and resentment from the world.

It's nice to be with someone because I want to, not because I feel obligated to for the sake of survival or social approval.
