I strongly suggest you define promiscuous as they are applied to the two sexes. I do not believe there is much difference in the sexual behavior between the sexes but usually women get the label just for behaving in the same manner as men.
It is my feelings that being promiscuous means behaving sexually in a loose and careless manner...usually with multiple partners. This difinition applies to both sexes.

I seriously doubt that- it is more about how society percieves sexuality. If a woman sleeps with a number of men she is promiscuous, which is a bad thing, if a man does the same, he's considered a stud and encouraged to do it.

SOmetimes. I always think it is more tempting for us because we are supposed to be all "oooh my man!" BUT I also think that if you are with a man then you should resist the temptations for wild sex here, there and everywhere because we have a tendency to feel guilt deeply.
