Why do female hunters get more hate than male hunters?

When a man who hunts kills an animal, people send him some negative comments at most but overall still believe it is normal behavior for a man. Unless that animal is famous like Cecil the lion

When a woman does the same thing, she gets death threats, no if the animal was famous or not. And EVERYONE hates her.

Every time I hear about a hunter getting death threats, it's a female.

I disagree against cruelty towards animals but if we are going to hate female hunters, we should hate male hunters too.

"Why do female hunters get more hate than male hunters?"

Sorry but I'm going to need to see some proof of that.

"Unless that animal is famous like Cecil the lion"

Sorry but how many people in the USA actually knew of "Cecil the lion" before the media touched off that firestorm? I mean even in Zimbabwe, where the hunt took place, the general public seemed less outraged about it than Americans, 99.9% of whom I'm sure did not know ANYTHING of "Cecil the lion" before the media was saturated with coverage!

No the truth is when people receive hate, it's because they've posed with trophies...and if anything, I have my doubts that women receive more death threats than men.

I think this is a red herring...just like the whole "online harassment of women" outrage that neglects the fact that MEN are the ones on the receiving end of more of the harassment online.

It could be just that female hunters who post their pictures stand out more, so more people know about them. But I highly doubt that female hunters are actually more hated than male hunters

Are you ******* kidding me? Men are usually lynched by the media when they hunt animals. Women who do it barely make the news and when they do there is very little outcry except from animal rights activists.

It's silly to care about what gender does what.
