To which their own. The BDSM community, like the actual BDSM community not **** like 50 shades of grey practice safe and consensual BDSM so each partner is respect and not at all unwillingly injured in the end. Everyone has their own pleasures, kinks, and fetishes and if inflicting pain on others for sexual pleasure is their thing, so be it. There's a reason there's an opposite-masochism, those who probably prefer a sadist on their side so they know each partner is gaining an equal amount of pleasure and stimulation.

well I am a female sadist and I think I'm a fun person to be around. it's just a sexual preference after all and kinky people tend to seek out other kinky people so I wouldn't worry about sadists pushing their interests on you

Some of them are cruel... like the serial killers, and the sexually sadistic ones are usually the worst of the worst. But if they're not hurting anyone with it, I don't see a problem.
