Feminists: When a user (with a male avatar) asks insulting, silly questions...?

Like, "Why are women inferior?" isn't it very possible that the user asking this question is a female trying to perpetuate the notion that a lot more men have such foolish notions just to add fuel to the fire?

If this is the goal then it appears to be working in its attempt to infuriate women, and let this sort of thing get generalized. Clearly it doesn't serve anyone's interest other than the user who engages in this odd business.

Why assume that such inherently loaded, childish and silly questions are necessarily coming from young/silly misguided men rather than women who are simply trying to perpetuate inter-gender divisiveness?

Who can possibly know the true nature of a given user or the user's intention in posting inflammatory questions?

I cannot believe this is the grade of answers from people in the Womens Studies section (first few). Get some self respect and learn.



I am personally far from a feminist. I see being a feminist as being sexist. I am, if anything, an 'equalist'. I would rather fight for mens rights alongside womens. There are many things men are missing out on that feminists seem to ignore completely in favour of their own agendas.



In regards to this, I would have to agree. Many are ignoring the simple fact that yes, it would be in some immature females interests to pose as an 'arrogant, pig-headed man' to fuel the fire.

They are just trying to prod an old fire to get it to burst into flames. Perhaps you are right and that it could be a women on the other end of the screen trying to make men seem incompetent. Then again, there is the possibility that there really is an ignorant teenage male trying to test his limits. Either way, they're stirring up a hornets nest of distrust.

I don't know why this happens, you're absolutely correct in suggesting that these statements could be made by women. They may not be, but they COULD be. Seems like a stupid waste of time to do that, but then again, some people are just stupid.

Only time I have gotten, mad upset or infuriated from GSW....wasn't over stupid trolls. I am well aware they are here to tease and goat.

You can't, unless you see enough of them to recognize the signs of a troll. This is by definition, a TROLL. Many of the less experienced people here call someone a "Troll" as if it's an insult. Think fishing: they are trolling for a reaction.



What's amusing is watching people "try" to act intelligent and respond with the fire and brimstone act. By doing so, they're getting fished right in - and don't even know how they've demonstrated their lack of intelligence by not recognizing a troll for what it is. :-)
