an excellent contribution to society? Is it jealousy from either the feminist movement* or the MRA movement*? Britney Spears also claimed that the nude photos of her getting out of cars, etc were photoshopped and fakes??

Thanks! :)

I don't think the MRA movement is all that concerned with Britney Spears...if anything, to most MRA's, I suspect Britney Spears is a refreshing example of a woman who was treated the same way many men are treated: not granted full custody of her children; having to pay large sums in alimony and child support to the ex; etc...

I suspect Feminists would probably have more animosity towards Britney Spears than would MRA's.

Okay let me be the first and probably only woman here to actually answer this accurately.

When Britney first became a big name, men went crazy for her. She was around 16 and was famous. Then when she got a bit older and was of legal age, men liked her even more. She was young, attractive, successful (even though she was only marketable because of her looks, she's strictly a studio singer, the best she can do when she's live is lip sync), wealthy and was desired by men. This makes women jealous and when someone like her falls from grace, women enjoy it. Those men who once admired her beauty had to take back their admiration, which I have no doubt was to the delight of many women whose husbands/boyfriends had once drooled over her.

"an excellent contribution to society?"

That's hilarious. She released a few crappy songs and got hooked on drugs and cost the taxpayer a fortune for her self-inflicted physical and mental health issues. Yes an excellent contribution, if only everyone was like her.

nobody cares about britney spears anymore

why dont you fight for the reputation of Tiffany and Debbie Gibson since you love outdated popstars so much

@Seven - Britney Spears didnt become famous because of men - her stardom was built on the backs of 13 year old girls and adult gay men, like Thomas here

I don't think she's a very hot topic of conversation in any crowd these days.

I don't talk about her because I don't even find her vaguely interesting.
