Gender Studies: Why do women expect men to have better social status than her?

to me this is another form of golddigging, she wants to have a better social circle without working for it.

I think it's partially because men always had better status than women - it's just lately that women have the same opportunities as man have. Another reason is that women are usually the ones who stay at home with children - and for that she needs a man who can earn enough money for both of them, while she can't go to work. But from when I watched some reality show about trials (I guess most trials are divorces), many of today women choose to be the one working while the man is home with children, so it's the woman supporting the family.

Not golddigging, but prostitution. Basically, all women are prostitutes in that they sell their slit whether it be for a free dinner, or lifelong support, so they try to get the most out of the sale of their holes.

Same could be said for men why do men expect women to look better then themselves? Not all women and not all men are like that though you can't generalize.

and how many women want some slob. think about it..if she's gonna accept your name and stature, then she will expect you to make it worth her while.
