Question:
How do men get out of the catch-22 situation in the gender war?

"To women, there is simply no way for men to succeed over women in competition without it being due to sexism. Apparently the only way for men to not be sexist is to underperform women."

And if they underperform, they need to "man up".

Somehow I find this fascinating.

Something like this -

There's a hole in the bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza,
There's a hole in the bucket, dear Liza, a hole.
Then mend it, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry,
Then mend it, dear Henry, dear Henry, mend it.
With what shall I mend it, dear Liza, dear Liza?
With what shall I mend it, dear Liza, with what?
With a straw, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry,
With a straw, dear Henry, dear Henry, with a straw.
The straw is too long, dear Liza, dear Liza,
The straw is too long, dear Liza, too long,
Then cut it, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry,
Then cut it, dear Henry, dear Henry, cut it.
With what shall I cut it, dear Liza, dear Liza?
With what shall I cut it, dear Liza, with what?
With a knife, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry,
With a knife, dear Henry, dear Henry, with a knife.
The knife is too dull, dear Liza, dear Liza,
The knife is too dull, dear Liza, too dull.
Then sharpen it, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry
Then sharpen it, dear Henry, dear Henry, sharpen it.
On what shall I sharpen it, dear Liza, dear Liza?
On what shall I sharpen it, dear Liza, on what?
On a stone, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry,
On a stone, dear Henry, dear Henry, a stone.
The stone is too dry, dear Liza, dear Liza,
The stone is too dry, dear Liza, too dry.
Well wet it, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry,
Well wet it, dear Henry, dear Henry, wet it.
With what shall I wet it, dear Liza, dear Liza?
With what shall I wet it, dear Liza, with what?
try water, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry,
try water, dear Henry, dear Henry, water.
In what shall I fetch it, dear Liza, dear Liza?
In what shall I fetch it, dear Liza, in what?
In a bucket, dear Henry, dear Henry, dear Henry,
In a bucket, dear Henry, dear Henry, a bucket.
There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza,
There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza, a hole.

We stop treating women like victims and start treating them like equal adults. There is no other way. You cannot give equal rights and choices, but not the accompanying responsibilities, burdens, and accountability. When you allow the two to be separated, you get situation like this (claiming the rights of an adult, but proclaiming the need for the treatment of a child/victim).

The two have to be put back together, which means the end of all victim treatment and special class/unequal treatment of ANY kind. Complete genderless treatment with nothing special, and no excuses for anyone.

The problem is not the hole in the bucket...the problem is Henry's and Liza's dependence on the bucket as having to be part of the solution. Why couldn't he just go fetch some water with his drinking cup or in his hat?

In other words, true equality in society will be difficult to reach until people stop clinging so strongly to tried and true methods and beliefs that do nothing to solve an issue that is actually caused by those very methods and beliefs.

A new issue has arisen that has never been faced before, and it clearly needs a new way of solving it. There is a hole in the bucket now, so it is clear that the bucket will not be a useful tool to utilize in order to fix itself.

Patriarchal beliefs that are still being clung to in our society as a way of fixing things (i.e. "man up") are getting in the way of our society's ability to solve the issue of unfair patriarchal leanings in business and politics. Patriarchy can not fix patriarchy.

What is the solution? The solution is to start purposely being a whole lot more aware of when these old patriarchal attitudes creep up and to identify them for exactly what they are...then reject them in favour of a more effective solution. We should not let them get society stuck in a never ending loop of complaint and excuse.

This is one of the main reasons I became an anti-Feminism.

In the feminist view, as a man, you can't ever win.

If you are better - it is obviously a proof of how your male privileges work.

If you are worse - it is obviously a proof of how your male mentality works against your success.

If this "gender war" consists of stupid things like pleasing random feminist journalists, then I can't take it seriously.
